The Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) as the coordinator of the «EASYTRIP: GR-BG E-MOBILITY SOLUTIONS» project participated in the 28th International Exhibition of Tourism Philoxenia (pavilion 13 of the Exhibition Center of Thessaloniki) and presented the electronic mobility services that are now being developed (22-25 November 2012).
During the exhibition, trade and tourism organizations from Greece and abroad as well as ordinary visitors had the opportunity to come into contact with HIT’s representatives and get a short briefing on the objectives and significance of the Easytrip project. Pcs and smartphones were also available for the system testing.
That way, visitors under HIT’s personnel instructions could test the system and express their opinion concerning the information provided and how useful this was for a trip’s completion. Moreover, they could suggest other information needed to be provided through the developed platform and therefore, useful conclusions concerning travelers’ real needs were conducted and will be taken into account.
