On Friday 6th, April 2012 the Hellenic Institute of Transport successfully organized the kick off meeting of the project "Easytrip : GR-BG E-mobility solutions" in the framework of the European Territorial Cooperation Programme "Greece-Bulgaria 2007-2013". The kick off meeting, took place in the Conference Centre of CERTH in Thessaloniki and was attended by representatives of all project partners and the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Project
During the kick off meeting a project overview was presented, identifying the objectives and priorities that need to be taken into account for the successful implementation of the project. The role and responsibilities of each partner were highlighted as well as the procedure under which short term actions should be completed.
The kick off meeting underlined the need to implement projects like Easytrip, which can provoke partnerships between countries that participate in them. Such projects can offer significant added value depending on the way and the level of dissemination to the public, with emphasis to be focused on critical masses. Easytrip should set the targets and emphasize on the development of an integrated business plan, in order to promote the cooperation among the regions of influence and invigorate them financially and culturally.
