On Friday October 5th, 2012, the Municipality of Serres successfully organized the 2nd project meeting of the “Easytrip: GR-BG E-mobility solutions” project in the framework of the European Territorial Cooperation Programme “Greece-Bulgaria 2007-2013”. The meeting took place in the Conference Hall of the Elpida Resort & Spa, in Serres, and was attended by representatives of all project partners as well as the subcontractors that have undertaken part of the project work.
The aims of the meeting were to discuss the progress of the surveys in every Municipality, to present the progress of data collection and to decide the equipment that will be purchased by all Municipalities.
Particular emphasis was placed on user needs surveys conducted by each municipality participating in the project in order to clarify the real needs and desires of commuters between these areas and decide the equipment purchased by each municipality.
During the meeting, the results of research and user needs carried out during the summer at the border of the Bastion of the company TREDIT.
Also during the meeting measurement results were presented by the survey which was conducted by the Hellenic Institute of Transport and the Chemical Process and Energy Resources Institute of Thessaloniki with the installation of equipment for measuring gaseous pollutants in the ports of Kavala and Keramoti.
The meeting was be set up in the form of a discussion where all project partners provided information on the project progress, expressed their views and reported problems faced during project progress.
